The ACR122S is part of ACS’s ACR122 NFC reader family and offers a serial RS-232 interface combined with USB power. This makes it well-suited for integration into systems such as POS terminals, kiosks, vending machines, and embedded hardware.

• Supports a wide range of card formats – including ISO 14443 Type A & B, MIFARE Classic/Plus/DESFire, FeliCa, and NFC Forum Tags Types 1–4.

• High-speed contactless communication – Delivers read/write speeds of up to 424 kbps, with a usable range of up to approximately 50 mm.

• Built-in security features – Includes an ISO 7816 SAM slot for secure cryptographic operations. Also equipped with LED indicators (dual-color) and a buzzer for user feedback.
